Frêne

For two weeks, between the end of winter and the beginning of spring, the group Frêne was welcomed in residence in the pays de Vans in the Ardeche mountains. There three musicians immersed themselves in the musical heritage of the Cévennes and in particular of the pays de Boutières, listening to the modes, the stories and the sounds that shape the contours of this music, finally transforming and building on what they have heard to create a new musical repertoire.
